A tool for self-knowledge and easier conversations.

What did you believe a year ago?

Track your thinking over time. Write down what you think is true, then come back and write it again. Every version is kept, so you can see how your own thinking actually moved — and put it beside someone else's to find where the two of you really differ, instead of arguing past each other.

Free now, free forever. Private by default. Export everything whenever you want.

Beta Early days — things may change and rough edges are likely. Your data is yours and exportable at any time.

This is not social media.

There are no followers, no likes, no reposts, no feed deciding what you see next, and no number that goes up when you perform. There is no public reply either: the only response anyone can leave is where they land on a belief you published — agree, partly, disagree or not sure, with an optional note — and it goes to you and to your comparison with that person, never onto a timeline for an audience.

Most of what people write here is private and stays that way. The point is to think, not to be seen thinking.

How it works

  1. 1

    Write a belief

One sentence about something you think is true — “democracy needs boring institutions”, “I work best in the morning”, whatever is on your mind. Broad or specific, both work.

  2. 2

    Rate your conviction

Put a percentage on it. The scale runs 0.001% to 99.999% — as close to sure as you like, without ever quite claiming certainty. It feels arbitrary the first time. It stops feeling arbitrary the third time you write down the same belief.

  3. 3

    Revisit on your schedule

Monthly, yearly, or never — you choose per belief. When one comes due it appears in your Revisit list. Nothing is overwritten; every version is kept.

  4. 4

    Compare with anyone

Publish the beliefs you're willing to discuss. Mark where you land on someone else's. The disagreement gets specific instead of vague. One click copies it for an LLM to summarize, compare, and suggest topics.

Private unless you say otherwise

Every belief starts private. Publishing is per-belief and reversible — you can keep a private journal of things you're not ready to argue about and a public list of things you are.

Better arguments, faster

Most political and philosophical arguments waste an hour finding the actual disagreement. Compare two profiles and it's already sorted: common ground, partial agreement, real differences, and the questions neither of you has answered.

An honest record

Memory rewrites itself — you'll swear you always thought this. The history says otherwise, in your own words, with the date attached.

Every version, kept

Revisiting a belief never overwrites the last one. Each belief has a full history: what you wrote each time, how convinced you were, and the note explaining what moved. You can watch a position shift from 80% to 62% to 71% and read your own reasoning at each step.

Never sold, never handed over

What you write here is not a product. It is never sold, rented or traded — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, at any price — and never used to train a model. Nothing is disclosed to an employer, a platform or a stranger who asks. The only limit is the one no site can honestly promise away: a valid court order. Everything on our side of that line, we promise. The full version is here.

Free now, free forever

Everything the site does today stays free, and nothing you write will ever be moved behind a paywall. Your export always includes all of it. There is no trial that ends and no countdown on your account.

If a substantial new tool arrives later that costs real money to run, that one may be paid. What you already rely on won't change.

No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. Your beliefs are not training data and your email address is not a mailing list.

Hand it to an LLM in one click

Copy a comparison as plain text — both people's beliefs, conviction scores, reasoning and responses — and ask any chat assistant to lay out where you agree, where you don't, and which disagreements actually matter.

Or export your own beliefs alone, choosing the public ones, the private ones, everything, or a hand-picked selection. Then ask it which of your beliefs are in tension with each other, or where you're most confident with the least reasoning behind it.
